40 years Kientalerhof - let's celebrate

Countdown from 0 to 40 - Part 1: Kientalerhof as a place for Body and Spirituality

Sometimes people ask me (and sometimes I ask myself): What is the Kientalerhof actually? Is it just a colorful bouquet of diverse course offerings? A random collection of interesting topics that we somehow knead into training and further education courses?

In the cheerful chatter in the dining room it may seem so, and yet the Kientalerhof is built on solid foundations: our core theme is the body and spirituality. And not "body" here and "spirituality" there, but precisely not.

What was written into the Kientalerhof's "constitution" of values from the very beginning is that the two seemingly distant poles of "body" and "spirituality" are very closely linked. The Kientalerhof stands for this connection.

Actually, it is more than a connection, it is a bond. And as in any real bond, both sides are themselves and yet are on the move together:

Our bodies give us roots in the nourishing earth and a world where we learn together and experience the wonders of sharing. Our timeless self gives blessings for a meaningful life with values of goodness and wisdom, so that the body does not become alienated from its source. Body and spirituality mirror each other and offer their gifts to each other. That is the fascinating thing about this life, and that is the healing experience for which the space is prepared for everyone at the Kientalerhof.

Program overview:

Tuesday, July 1, 2025, to Thursday, July 3, 2025:
Anniversary celebration for former and current employees and lecturers
The anniversary program ends with an All-Start-Concert on Thursday evening.
Exciting workshops and lectures will be offered from July 1-3, 2025.
The specific program is currently being developed and will be communicated on an ongoing basis.
Daily price for the anniversary days: The Kientalerhof Forty (CHF 40.-)

July 4, 2025:Closing of the anniversary days, start of the Natural Sound Openair

July 5-6, 2025:Natural Sound Openair on the Kientalerhof grounds with taster sessions in all our body therapy methods and culinary delights all day long.
Prices for the Natural Sound Openair: according to the website naturalsound.ch (will be online at the beginning of 2025).

Early registration is recommended for those who wish to stay overnight at the Kientalerhof, the Chienehuus or the Bergfrieden. We also offer an early bird rate with a 20% discount on board and lodging costs until 31.12.2024.
